Airee is very much like her dam, Mya, but with more ground speed and range. She is was a “tweener” until about five years and has been consistently All-Age since. While she reaches to the limits of the course she keeps in touch with her handler and acknowledges his control. She points with intensity and a high-tail, and will hold point for however long it takes to find her. She always grabs the front and never back-casts. She is extremely intense and patient on point with a high tail. She is compact and powerful with great endurance, and often takes the difficult cast where the birds are likely to be found. She loves chukar country and will climb the highest hill to search them out. She has won and taken runner-up in many NGSPA Championships. We are especially proud that she was named Champion of the inaugural 2018 NGSPA Open All-Age Invitational, held January 2019. This is the most challenging trial in the entire GSP world. The top twelve All-Age dogs in the country are invited to compete at Hell Creek WMA, Blue Mtn., MS. They run two 60 minute stakes in two days. The top dogs are called back the third day for a 90 minute stake. This endurance stake is extremely demanding and we are proud that Airee was named Champion. Her mother, Mya, won the Inaugural Shooting Dog Invitational. So it runs in the family. Airee’s first letter was born at 8 years of age, and looks to hold extreme promise.
