Connie is living up to her namesake: Contender. She ran her first broke dog stake in January, 2017. She got stronger and stronger each time and in her third Championship she placed 3rd out of 16 dogs. Her first big win was the 2018 Quail OSD Champion. In 2019 she was the Chukar OSD Champion, and the Region 9 OSD R-U. These back to back wins placed her in the top 12 Shooting Dogs in the country and earned her a slot in the OSD Invitational. She runs a good, forward shooting dog race, and instinctively knows where the birds are. She points with incredible style, and her patience on point is extreme. Connie is biddable, goes with the handler and has a sunny disposition.
