Con began his “broke-dog” life as a Shooting Dog, and at five was a “tweener” (sometimes AA, sometimes SD), and from five years he ran a consistent and eye catching All-Age race. He is a magnificent animal in appearance and structural conformation. His long, athletic stride eats up the ground. He has a great nose, points with style, and his temperament is calm and loving.

Con is a tremendous stud dog with proven progeny. His “field trial” get are either big shooting dogs or all age dogs. They have these attributes in common: handsome, outstanding conformation, athleticism, and endurance. Great nose, trainable, calm, high tails, and patience on point. His get have earned national rankings and numerous NGSPA placements. Many of his get have earned Prize 1 or 2 in NAVHDA Natural Ability. Roma scored Prize 1 at four months, and at 6 years she was named National Champion (All-Age), NGPDA.

Con has been used at stud many times and has produced very consistent puppies that are capable of performing in field trials, as foot hunter’s buddies, and their temperaments make wonderful family dogs. He is truly an “all-around” stud dog.

Con was retired at ten years after an outstanding career. Con won 8 NGSPA placements, including twice being named Champion of the premier NGSPA wild bird trial, the Sharptail Championship. He is also an AKC Field Champion.
